What you will do

  • Execute advanced power network analyses: load flow, steady-state studies, voltage/dynamic stability, network modelling and data validation
  • Contribute to analytical and operational activities using power system simulation tools
  • Develop and maintain analytical workflows, automation, scripting, and supporting tools for analysis, testing, and reporting
  • Provide expert technical support and coaching to internal engineers and analysts
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality technical outputs

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years experience in power engineering roles
  • Experience within a Transmission System Operator (TSO) or comparable organization
  • Expertise in transmission network studies
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerFactory (DigSILENT)
  • Programming and automation skills: Python, scripting in simulation environments
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, specialized in Power Systems/Transmission Networks
  • Fluent in English and Dutch or French
  • Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented mindset for complex, high-criticality environments
