Writer (Gamedev): Crafting compelling stories, engaging dialogues, and immersive narrative experiences for The Witcher series with an accent on macro and micro narrative design, character development, and world-building. Focus on co-creating Witcher projects, integrating storytelling with game systems, and iterating on narrative delivery for player immersion.

Location: Office first from Warsaw or Krakow offices (full-time or hybrid) or remote first from locations with maximum +/- 3h time difference to Warsaw time zone with occasional office presence. Relocation support to Poland available.

Salary: 11 300 - 20 200 PLN gross monthly.

What you will do

• Co-create current and new Witcher projects.
• Design narrative on macro and micro scales.
• Write dialogues and scenarios for in-game storytelling.
• Create and maintain narrative documentation for game world, characters, and story.
• Support narrative content across game systems.
• Collaborate with quest and cinematic designers for seamless storytelling integration.
• Iterate on narrative delivery techniques to enhance immersion.

Requirements

• Native Polish and fluent English.
• Experience adapting scripts or publishing texts (books, short stories, screenplays).
• Strong writing skills and language proficiency.
• Broad general knowledge of culture and society.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Creativity and flexible storytelling approach.
• Willingness to learn game development tools and editors.
• Portfolio with 2-3 professional writing samples required.
