What you will do

• Lead the adoption of backend development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Define technical standards and architectural approaches for building robust systems with Python.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of backend services.
• Plan and oversee backend development tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Build and develop a strong backend engineering team through mentoring and regular 1-on-1s.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, analysts, and product managers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python (FastAPI, Django, or similar).
• 2+ years of experience in a lead or managerial role.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, databases, and API design.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Must be able to work in a hybrid format in Tbilisi or Cyprus.

Nice to have

• Experience in finance or trading systems.
• Experience with high-load and large-scale systems.
• Familiarity with TradingView as a product.
