Salary: $150,000 - $240,000 (US); CAD $165,000 - CAD $260,000 (Canada)

What you will do

• Design and run evaluations to measure AI output quality against legal professional standards.
• Review and validate AI-generated legal content for accuracy, relevance, and helpfulness.
• Collaborate with engineering and GTM teams to identify gaps and develop solutions.
• Draft and iterate on system prompts and evaluation criteria based on real-world legal needs.
• Assess model performance, build legal datasets, and provide expertise for product roadmap.
• Ideate features and participate in customer feedback.

Requirements

• Law degree and active license to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3+ years legal experience, ideally in-house (product, regulatory, or litigation).
• Deep U.S. legal research and regulatory law knowledge.
• Experience with generative AI for legal work and evaluating AI outputs.
• Strong quantitative/analytical skills and ability to design metrics.
• Cross-functional communication and technological curiosity.
