Fullstack Developer Intern

TL;DR

Fullstack Developer Intern (Healthcare IT): Design, code, test, and debug applications for federal healthcare IT projects with an accent on modern software development practices, AI-assisted tools, and Agile delivery. Focus on collaborating with senior engineers, applying DevSecOps processes, and contributing to real-world government applications.

Location: 100% remote within the continental US; must reside in continental US and be able to obtain federal government clearance (company assists); no sponsorship

What you will do

• Design, code, test, and debug applications using modern programming practices.
• Collaborate with senior developers and teams on software initiatives.
• Learn and apply tools like AI technologies, Git, JSON, and testing tools.
• Maintain code documentation and version control.
• Support Agile practices including sprint planning and reviews.
• Troubleshoot development challenges and contribute to team goals.

Requirements

• Must reside within the continental US.
• Ability to obtain federal government clearance (fingerprinting and background check required).
• No sponsorship available.
• Pursuing Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Academic/project experience in software/web development and OOP (Java or Python).
• Basic experience with RESTful APIs and/or SQL.
• Understanding of AI tools, Agile methodologies, version control, and SDLC.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Git and version control.
• Experience with JSON and API testing (Postman/Swagger).
• Familiarity with Jira or Agile tools.
