What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend and infrastructure systems using Golang and Java.
• Collaborate with client teams to translate complex engineering concepts into clear technical decisions.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP using Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), Terraform, and Flux.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Contribute across the broader engineering stack to deliver high-value digital solutions.

Requirements

• Strong backend and infrastructure engineering background with hands-on Golang and Java experience.
• Experience developing or integrating decentralized systems, data infrastructure, or distributed technologies.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure: AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Flux.
• Must be based in the EU, UK, or Portugal.
• Full professional fluency in English (C1+).
• Advanced and habitual use of AI tools in day-to-day coding practices.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, core banking, or regulated financial services environments.
• Familiarity with TigerBeetle, YugabyteDB, or Red Panda.
