What you will do

• Drive frontend architecture, component design, and high-level technical decisions across teams.
• Evolve and maintain the design system, including reusable components, design tokens, and documentation.
• Resolve complex frontend challenges in large-scale projects and spearhead smaller initiatives independently.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX, backend engineers, SREs, and QA to deliver cohesive experiences.
• Translate design requirements into scalable, maintainable, and accessible UI solutions.
• Optimize performance focusing on bundle size, rendering, and network efficiency.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience building scalable frontend applications and maintaining Design Systems.
• Deep understanding of modern CSS, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design.
• Experience with frontend testing and Storybook.
• Skilled in clean architectures and integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs.
• English: B2 proficiency required for daily communication in an international environment.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid mode in Barcelona, Spain.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Next.js.
• Exposure to microfrontends architecture.
• Experience using Storybook as a documentation and collaboration tool.
