What you will do

• Create high-quality mocap-driven realistic character animations to enhance gameplay feel.
• Collaborate with designers, technical animators, and programmers to deliver best-in-class gameplay features.
• Prepare for and co-direct mocap shoots.
• Troubleshoot animation implementation bugs within the game engine.
• Provide realistic time estimates for tasks and identify potential production risks.
• Mentor other animators and research new animation technologies and trends.

Requirements

• Hands-on AAA game industry experience.
• Experience with mocap-driven gameplay animation pipelines.
• Proficiency in MotionBuilder (or Maya) and game engines, preferably Unreal Engine.
• Strong knowledge of classic animation principles, body mechanics, acting, and posing.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple locations.
