What you will do
- Create optimized 3D open-world assets, focusing on vegetation, biomes, and rocks.
- Develop high-quality foliage (trees, bushes, grass) and seasonal or destruction variants.
- Build authentic PBR tileable terrain textures using photogrammetry and procedural workflows.
- Configure terrain materials and procedural clutter distribution across the map.
- Maintain and expand the existing vegetation asset library.
- Collaborate with designers and other artists to ensure world authenticity.
Requirements
- Portfolio showcasing game-ready vegetation, terrain materials, or rock assets.
- Expertise in highpoly-lowpoly modeling and PBR texturing for open worlds.
- Proficiency in Blender and Substance Designer.
- Willingness to learn and share new technical methods.
Nice to have
- Experience with photogrammetry collection and processing.
- Proficiency in SpeedTree or PlantFactory.
- Experience with Substance Painter workflows.
