What you will do

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple AI initiatives, ensuring they meet scope, timelines, and business objectives.
• Mentor and coach AI and Software Engineers to build a high-performing project team.
• Partner with stakeholders across product, science, and clinical operations to define requirements and success metrics.
• Translate business needs into technical roadmaps, delivery plans, and resourcing strategies.
• Guide solution design, model integration, testing, and production deployment of AI-powered platforms.
• Drive high-quality AI research and engineering practices while ensuring scalability and compliance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or machine learning.
• 2+ years of experience leading technical teams or cross-functional delivery efforts.
• Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML tooling, backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Proven experience with cloud-based architectures and production deployment of AI solutions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, biotech, or other regulated environments.
• Familiarity with generative AI, LLM-enabled workflows, and retrieval systems.
