What you will do

• Record and process administrative expenses ensuring correct categorization and VAT treatment.
• Manage banking operations, post transactions, and prepare payment files for approval.
• Process expense payment reports and record salary transactions.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing tasks.
• Maintain accurate and organized primary documentation for all financial transactions.
• Prepare statistical and compliance reports as required by Latvian authorities.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in administrative expense accounting.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (completed or in progress).
• Strong understanding of Latvian accounting and tax regulations, especially VAT.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas).
• Fluency in Latvian and English.
• Based in Riga or able to work in a hybrid format with partial office presence.

Nice to have

• Experience with tools such as CostPocket or DEX.
• Familiarity with accounting in the crypto or fintech industry.
• Russian language proficiency.
• Experience with 1C and/or Xero.
