Focus on managing case workflows, coaching analysts, and improving threat handling processes to ensure high-quality security outcomes.

Location: Remote (Must have legal authorization to work in Australia without sponsorship)

What you will do

  • Supervise the daily queue and provide day-to-day oversight for threat analysts.
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings, provide coaching, and develop individual growth plans to foster professional development.
  • Drive rapid resolution of operational tasks to reduce backlogs and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate and timely technical communication to customers, adhering to MDR standards.
  • Collaborate with the wider MDR team to operationalize threat intelligence and produce IOCs.
  • Champion continuous improvement of incident response and threat detection methodologies.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in a cybersecurity environment as an analyst or similar role.
  • Experience in a SOC environment identifying indications of compromise and responding to incidents.
  • Proficiency with endpoint and network security tools, including IDS, IPS, EDR, and ATP.
  • Legal authorization to work in Australia without employer sponsorship.
  • Availability to work shift-based hours, including weekends and holidays (24x7x365 service).
  • Deep knowledge of common adversary tactics, such as obfuscation, persistence, and defense evasion.
