TL;DR

Senior SW & Controls Engineer (Embedded): Developing control functions and algorithms for vehicle chassis and powertrain systems using Model-Based Design (MBD) with an accent on system architecture and validation. Focus on designing software in MATLAB/Simulink, performing MiL/SiL simulations, and ensuring compliance with MAAB and MISRA-C standards.

Location: Sala Al Jadida, Morocco (Hybrid options available via mobile working)

What you will do

  • Analyze system requirements to identify functional needs and software constraints.
  • Design software functional architecture, components, and data flows within the MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow environment.
  • Develop control functions and algorithms using the Model-Based Design (MBD) approach.
  • Perform static validation (MAAB) and validate functional behavior through Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) simulations.
  • Generate embedded C code and verify functional compliance via static validation (MISRA-C) and Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) simulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for software integration within the V-cycle development process.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Engineering degree in Embedded Systems, Electromechanics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in software development and testing using MBD.
  • Experience in modeling vehicle chassis systems (dynamics, suspension, braking, steering).
  • Strong knowledge of powertrain architectures, including ICE, xHEV, and BEV.
  • Fluent in both French and English.
  • Based in or able to work from Morocco.
