Salary: $200,000 - $265,000 USD

What you will do

• Design and deploy onboard ML models with a focus on quantization, pruning, and conversion to ONNX/TensorRT.
• Develop custom GPU kernels and perform profiling to optimize performance and latency of the autonomy stack.
• Ensure parity between onboard and offboard models through validation on HIL.
• Collaborate with perception, planning, and simulation teams to integrate ML models into production.
• Analyze real-world driving logs to identify edge cases and enhance model robustness and safety.
• Contribute to scalable AI infrastructure supporting continuous learning across the fleet.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience deploying machine learning or deep learning systems in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with large-scale distributed training systems.
• Solid understanding of optimization and machine learning fundamentals.
• Strong software engineering skills, including testing, debugging, and system design.
