What you will do

• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure and services on AWS.
• Drive the adoption of AI and large language models (LLMs) to enhance developer efficiency.
• Optimize developer workflows and build robust platform solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Manage infrastructure as code using tools like CDK or CloudFormation for automated provisioning.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve platform issues to ensure high availability and performance.
• Guide and mentor team members, providing technical feedback and fostering professional development.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and deploying applications in high-traffic production environments.
• 4+ years of experience in backend software development, ideally with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven experience providing detailed technical feedback and mentorship to other engineers.
• Ability to transform complex, abstract problems into clear, actionable solutions.
• Must be based in Bogotá, Colombia.
• Initial engagement will be under a contractor arrangement.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with AWS cloud platforms and services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like CDK or CloudFormation.
• Background in observability tools for monitoring complex systems.
