What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance simulation interfaces and APIs to support continuous AV system development.
• Implement software to measure and validate autonomous vehicle performance indicators in collaboration with data teams.
• Develop simulation tools to validate the safety and performance of autonomous vehicles.
• Design and build systems to manage simulation test portfolios and results to improve discoverability across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish software and system requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation to ensure product quality.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of industry experience.
• Experience working in modern C++ (C++14/17/20).
• Strong working knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience in real-time simulation platform development and integration (e.g., game engines, AV simulation).
• Previous experience developing in Linux environments.

Nice to have

• M.S. Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Familiarity with AWS, Databricks, and Python for large-scale data processing.
• Experience building web front ends, database schemas, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with Applied Intuition simulation software (Simian, Logstream, Spectral).
