What you will do

• Lead software engineering teams in an agile environment to build and scale significant enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate product visions into Epics, Sprints, and Tasks.
• Design, build, and enhance high-availability software products and platforms on AWS.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across multiple development lines and associated platforms.
• Review project plans, coordinate activities, and consult with vendors and management to assess system requirements.
• Mentor developers and provide both technical and relational leadership to the engineering team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant software experience and 5+ years in software management or design.
• Deep expertise in Java/Spring Boot, React, and AWS Cloud Architecture.
• Proven experience leading distributed teams in an agile environment.
• Expert knowledge of AWS IaaS/PaaS (RDS, Dynamo, Lambda, API Gateway) and security services (Active Directory, Domain Services).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or Systems Ops).
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of GitHub Actions.
