Localization Project Manager (AI)

Location: On-site in Rome, Italy

Salary: €28,000–€48,000 per year, depending on experience, location, responsibilities, and performance.

What you will do

• Plan, manage, and deliver localization and translation projects within budget and agreed timelines.
• Serve as the primary contact for key clients, providing progress updates, addressing concerns, and developing long-term partnerships.
• Understand client needs and coordinate customized localization solutions.
• Improve production workflows through process optimization, innovation, and new technologies.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze project performance, and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
• Support colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to collaborative project delivery.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in the translation industry.
• Excellent English proficiency required.
• Strong time management, organizational, communication, and client-facing relationship-building skills.
• Strong computer and web proficiency with high analytical ability.
• Ability to manage stress, handle a substantial workload, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong motivation and work ethic.

Nice to have

• Additional language skills, such as German or French.
