Intern Educational Psychologist (Education): Providing educational psychological services to students across hirify.global campuses with an accent on therapeutic interventions, psychoeducational assessments, and group work. Focus on delivering mental healthcare, implementing play therapy and trauma support, and collaborating within multidisciplinary student support teams.

Location: Onsite; must be willing and able to work on different campuses of the school and travel when necessary

What you will do

• Provide therapeutic interventions, including play therapy and trauma support, to primary and secondary school students from Grade 00 to Grade 12.
• Conduct psycho-educational assessments and write professional, psychometrically sound assessment reports.
• Facilitate Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) experiences, workshops, and group interventions for students, staff, and parents.
• Collaborate with the Student Support Team (SST) and participate in multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Perform case management and hold consultations with parents and teachers.
• Maintain accurate clinical records while upholding the highest professional and ethical conduct.

Requirements

• Completed or nearing completion of an accredited Master’s degree in education or counselling psychology.
• Individualised internship program approved by the Professional Board for Psychology by December 2026.
• Registration with the HPCSA as an intern Psychologist by no later than January 2027.
• Supervised experience in therapeutic interventions and psychological assessment.
• Adept at using technology for instruction.
