What you will do

  • Develop AI agents as Python microservices using a proprietary SDK.
  • Design and implement multi-agent pipelines for OCR, clinical abstraction, terminology mapping, and FHIR generation.
  • Integrate LLMs (GPT-4o, GPT-5) for clinical text extraction, summarization, and decision support.
  • Implement semantic search and RAG using vector databases like Qdrant.
  • Build and maintain integrations with healthcare systems (Azure FHIR, HL7, SNOMED CT, RxNorm, LOINC).
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to translate medical workflows into automated agent pipelines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (async/await, Pydantic, FastAPI).
  • Practical experience with LLM prompt engineering, function calling, or RAG pipelines.
  • Experience in REST API design and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred).
  • Competence with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Proficiency with Git workflow, including branching and code reviews.

Nice to have

  • Experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, ICD-10, SNOMED CT).
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services (Container Apps, Service Bus, Cosmos DB).
  • Experience with TypeScript and React (Next.js) for dashboard contributions.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues.
  • Domain knowledge in oncology workflows or biotechnology.
