What you will do

• Lead and develop a Data & AI engineering chapter, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Define and drive engineering standards, best practices, and reusable patterns for data platforms, ML systems, and AI/GenAI solutions.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure delivery of data pipelines, ML models, and AI applications with architects and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute hands-on to complex or high-impact initiatives when needed to maintain reliable delivery across squads.
• Align chapter capacity and capabilities with organizational priorities in collaboration with Product and Tribe Leads.
• Drive capability building via roadmap initiatives, skill-gap identification, and upskilling efforts.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in Data, Machine Learning, or AI domains.
• Strong understanding of modern data platforms, ML systems, and AI technologies.
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines, cloud environments, and scalable architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop engineering talent.
• Strategic thinking to align technical capabilities with business priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across teams and domains.
