What you will do

• Operate large-scale data infrastructure across OLTP/OLAP, streaming, and batch workloads.
• Enhance infrastructure reliability through automation, observability, monitoring, and incident response.
• Build and enhance Python-based tooling and services to streamline operational workflows.
• Maintain and modernize the Python ecosystem to ensure compatibility with current versions and libraries.
• Automate operational workflows to improve communication and cross-team efficiency.
• Handle internal partner escalations and produce high-quality technical documentation and runbooks.

Requirements

• Strong programming experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience supporting and maintaining large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to produce clear, effective documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with batch orchestration tools such as Airflow, Luigi, or Temporal.
• Familiarity with data technologies: Kafka, Flink, Spark, Data Lake, MySQL, or Snowflake.
• Understanding of batch and real-time data processing pipelines.
• Experience contributing to shared infrastructure services used across multiple teams.
