What you will do

• Manage and prioritize the workload of engineers to ensure on-time project completion.
• Collaborate with product management to determine feature feasibility and propose technical alternatives.
• Set measurable objectives for team members and provide guidance to achieve them.
• Optimize development processes to improve project profitability and efficiency.
• Design and implement critical technical components of the product.
• Contribute to sales activities, customer development, and proposal creation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in client-side design and software development.
• 3+ years of experience with HTML5, ActionScript, and/or Java programming.
• Working knowledge of Linux and development for high-availability clustered environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as SVN, Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
• Able to pass a Security Background Investigation.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with MySQL, CouchBase, or MongoDB.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams (e.g., US and China).
• Background in online game development and open source technologies.
