Salary: $204,000—$259,000 USD

What you will do

• Conduct applied foundation model research and development.
• Design and execute complex experiments by training and evaluating large deep learning models.
• Present research findings and results to peers and leadership.
• Write high-quality code, unit tests, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Masters or PhD in deep learning, behavior and agent modeling, or simulation.
• Proficiency in Python.
• 3+ years of experience with modern deep learning frameworks (JAX, TensorFlow 2, or PyTorch).
• Experience in generative modeling and LLMs or VLMs (e.g., Gemini, Llama, GPT).
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with post-training and reinforcement learning.
• Knowledge of distillation.
• Expertise in Transformer models.
• Experience with autoencoders and embeddings.
