What you will do

• Configure, build, cable, and maintain HPC computer racks and hardware.
• Perform OS installation and provisioning for Linux, Windows Server, and Unix environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and networking problems on Linux clusters.
• Manage and maintain distributed file systems such as Lustre and NFS.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules for cluster hardware to ensure maximum uptime.
• Develop scripts using Python and Shell to automate system administration tasks.

Requirements

• Strong domain knowledge in High-Performance Computing (HPC).
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating system administration.
• Hands-on experience with HPC hardware, cabling, and kernel provisioning.
• Experience with computer networking and network switch topology.
• Ability to write scripts in Python and Shell.
• Must be based in Tainan, Taiwan for onsite hardware maintenance.

Nice to have

• Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies.
• Experience with Web Server and Database installation.
