What you will do

• Edit 4–5 long-form YouTube videos (8–14 minutes) per month with a focus on pacing and clarity.
• Create 4 high-engagement short-form clips derived from long-form content native to YouTube Shorts and social platforms.
• Implement light motion graphics, callouts, and captions to enhance instructional value and clarity.
• Collaborate closely with the creator to refine workflow and maintain brand style and visual language.
• Manage project files and version control for high-impact content.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing long-form YouTube content with strong storytelling instincts.
• English: Native or near-native (C2) required, including excellent spelling and grammar.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative judgment and the ability to deliver polished final cuts.
• Ability to work 3-4 hours per day in MST time zone.

Nice to have

• Experience editing educational, health, fitness, or instructional content.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics.
• Understanding of YouTube audience retention and watch-time optimization.
