What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end US payroll processing, including regular, off-cycle, and special payments.
• Manage multi-state payroll compliance and adherence to federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Conduct payroll audits, account reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Implement system updates and drive process improvements and automation.
• Resolve employee payroll inquiries via a ticketing tool within defined SLAs.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, Finance, Economics, or related areas.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in personnel administration and Senior HR/Payroll.
• Proven experience processing complete US payroll cycles.
• Deep knowledge of US state laws, taxes, benefits, and W2 processing.
• Experience working in a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment.
• Advanced English skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with the migration of HR processes to a Regional HR Hub.
• Experience with Canadian payroll processing.
