What you will do

• Assemble and erect box-making machines including feed, printing, cutter, and scorer-slotter sections according to design specifications.
• Align and fit complex component parts using technical drawings to ensure exacting operating performance and appearance.
• Perform precision assembly of rotating shafts, gear trains, mechanical structures, and sprockets to tight tolerances.
• Utilize measuring instruments to level and align work, eliminating run-out and ensuring concentricity and parallelism.
• Identify and report defective materials or unusual operating conditions to supervision.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide recommendations for design and process improvements.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 4+ years of work experience in a mechanical, automotive maintenance, repair, or assembly environment.
• Ability to work from complex drawings with a high degree of skill and care.
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments for precision alignment.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Sheboygan, WI.
