Senior Test Engineer Automation (Python, Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Test Engineer Automation (Python) (Fintech/Blockchain): Setting up automated testing environments and creating test documentation, plans, scenarios, cases, and reports for a tokenized securities platform with an accent on microservices, distributed systems, and CI/CD integration. Focus on functional, non-functional, regression, API testing, and improving test automation frameworks.

Must be based in Poland or Romania (Remote Europe). If located in Ukraine, must be able to occasionally travel to Poland or Romania.

What you will do

• Ensure project quality by collaborating with data engineers and developers on functional, non-functional, regression, and acceptance testing.
• Perform API and application testing, review requirements.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, perform workload planning.
• Proactively clarify functional and non-functional requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements to test automation frameworks.
• Quickly learn and apply new concepts and technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years commercial experience in automation testing, QA processes.
• Solid experience with complex distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Strong REST API testing, SQL and NoSQL knowledge.
• Hands-on with Python (Pytest), CI/CD pipelines, standard testing frameworks.
• Upper-Intermediate+ English.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, solid test design skills.
