Data Engineer (MS-SQL)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and accessibility.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, automate repetitive tasks, and streamline workflows.
• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot issues, optimize queries, and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Perform client data integrations, generate procedures and data definitions for onboarding, and execute integrations.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis, reporting, and build reporting infrastructure.
• Communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, plus experience with MS-SQL and SSRS/SSIS, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work as a team player in a distributed team and as an independent self-starter.
• Take ownership of complex business systems, maintenance, and expansion.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the Microsoft development stack, software development practices and patterns.
• Experience implementing and supporting enterprise-level solutions.
