Quality Engineer Intern - Temp

TL;DR

Quality Engineer Intern (Manufacturing): Assist in evaluating and improving manufacturing and inspection processes with an accent on root cause analysis, process optimization, and quality system compliance. Focus on solving complex production problems, implementing innovative solutions, and performing equipment qualifications and process validations.

Location: Roseville, CA (onsite required)

Salary: $18.00/hr to $30.00/hr

What you will do

• Solve complex problems and implement innovative solutions under supervision.
• Participate in root cause analysis and develop vetted solutions.
• Communicate problems and solutions cross-functionally.
• Monitor process and equipment performance, identify improvements for yield, efficiency, and throughput.
• Assist with fixture design, equipment qualification, and process validation.
• Develop and optimize processes using statistical techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma and currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program for Engineering, Physical Sciences or related technical field.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Roseville, CA.
• Approach problems from a detail-oriented perspective.
• Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant regulations.

Nice to have

• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and other office tools.
