What you will do

• Develop and maintain features for the native Google TV application using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Maintain and evolve the Android Player SDK for stability and easy integration by third-party publishers.
• Drive adoption of modern Android practices including Compose, Coroutines, and Flow across projects.
• Optimize application performance on TV devices, focusing on memory, focus management, and remote navigation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of native Android development experience
• Expert in Kotlin with strong practical experience in Jetpack Compose for complex UIs
• Thrive in collaborative environments and capable of driving technical initiatives
• Care about API design and developer experience

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ExoPlayer/Media3 or video streaming protocols
• Experience building apps for Android TV or Fire TV
