TL;DR

Platform Engineer - Governance & Compliance (GCP): Design, build and maintain critical cloud infrastructure including PCI systems, load balancers, VPC, and API Gateway with an accent on reliability, automation, and observability. Focus on infrastructure as code using Terraform, operating Kubernetes workloads, and defining SLOs/SLAs for payment systems at scale.

What you will do

• Design, build and maintain GCP infrastructure like Load Balancers, VPC, CDN, cross-region routes, and API Gateway for reliable payment systems.
• Drive automation with Go and Python to reduce manual toil and enable scalable operations.
• Own and evolve Terraform-based IaC for consistent infrastructure management.
• Set up observability with Datadog, Google Cloud Logging, and Sentry for early issue detection.
• Collaborate on SLOs/SLAs to meet business and merchant needs.
• Ship platform improvements with engineering teams, balancing speed, reliability, and security.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on GCP and public cloud infrastructure experience owning critical systems at scale.
• Solid Terraform and IaC experience managing infrastructure precisely.
• Strong Kubernetes experience operating containerized workloads in production.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and tooling.
• Track record in high-reliability and security environments balancing speed and operations.
• Passion for automation and distributed systems with scalable solutions.
