What you will do

• Work with PR team to execute programs for various clients
• Craft media materials including media lists, pitch letters, fact sheets, and press releases
• Execute media outreach
• Manage event planning initiatives
• Monitor, track, and report on earned media placements
• Create written content such as articles and blog posts
• Assist with award entries and participate in client meetings

Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Experience with AP Style writing
• Excellent writing, grammar, and copyediting skills
• Strong verbal, presentation, and communication skills
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with social media marketing
• Bachelor's Degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or related field

Nice to have

• Past media outreach experience
• Agency or prior PR position experience
• Experience with Keynote, Photoshop, InDesign
• Experience with Cision, Crimson Hexagon
• Google Analytics or Google AdWords certifications
