What you will do

• Participate in project planning, tactical direction, and internal reviews from day one
• Develop and work with CMS back-ends like WordPress
• Maintain and add new features to existing web applications and websites
• Build complex web applications from scratch or within frameworks
• Create internal tools to support other departments

Requirements

• 2+ years of PHP web development experience
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices
• Experience creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins
• Experience using version control like Git
• Solid portfolio of back-end web development
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Drupal 9 or e-commerce platforms like Magento, Shopify
• Experience with Ruby on Rails
• Server configuration and DevOps knowledge
• SEO best practices
