Staff Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design and implement threat detection capabilities leveraging Active Directory and Entra ID expertise.
• Develop high-quality, scalable backend services for both on-prem and SaaS environments.
• Integrate NTM data and capabilities with the broader ITDR, Identity, and Data product portfolios.
• Optimize and integrate AI tools to enable smarter threat detection and predictive analytics.
• Mentor engineers and influence architectural direction to ensure technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product management and platform teams to align technical direction with business needs.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of software development experience focusing on enterprise software.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience designing and delivering on-prem and SaaS software at scale.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, modular architectures, and event-driven design.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core/.NET).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Entity Framework Core.
• Knowledge of Entra ID and hybrid cloud identity solutions.
• Familiarity with threat detection methodologies, SIEM concepts, and security frameworks.
• Experience applying machine learning to threat detection.
