What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy software and data pipelines using batch and streaming technologies on an Azure-based platform.
• Build and maintain a company-wide data processing framework as part of the IT-Analytics team.
• Automate and monitor CI/CD/CT pipelines to ensure seamless delivery and high reliability.
• Optimize existing code for performance and scalability while debugging complex technical issues.
• Mentor other data professionals and collaborate with Data Science, DevOps/MLOps, and Security teams.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to improve system architecture.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience using Python, Spark, SQL, Scala, or Rust.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (or AWS/GCP) and Databricks (PySpark, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture).
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming, RESTful APIs, and OAuth.
• Proficiency in using Azure Data Factory to construct scalable data pipelines.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.

Nice to have

• Experience with TDD and testing frameworks like pytest or Great Expectations.
• Knowledge of streaming technologies such as Azure Event Hub and Apache Kafka.
• Experience with relational and No-SQL databases, specifically Azure SQL or MongoDB.
