What you will do

• Define and drive technical roadmaps for platform engineering, observability, networking, and security; mentor engineers.
• Architect control plane and infrastructure services for unified deployment to hybrid clusters; engineer ZTP workflows for bare-metal nodes.
• Design Golang/Python services for provisioning Juniper SRX firewalls/switches using Netconf/YANG/XML APIs; implement intent-based networking.
• Pioneer security components for PKI, SPIFFE/SPIRE, and Zero-Trust enforcement on nodes and devices.

Requirements

• 12+ years software engineering, Staff/Principal level in backend, distributed systems, platform, or network automation.
• Expert Golang (7+ years), scalable daemons/control planes/APIs.
• Experience provisioning network devices (Juniper SRX) via Netconf/RESTconf/gRPC.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure Local/Azure Stack HCI, OpenShift at scale.
• Linux systems programming, networking stack (BGP/OSPF/VLANs/IPSec), Docker/OCI.
• PKI, mTLS, Zero-Trust implementation leadership.

• Custom Kubernetes Operators/Controllers for infrastructure.
