What you will do

• Develop and maintain custom integrations and ETL processes between K-12 data and internal/external systems.
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data needs into robust technical solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data flow issues and respond to API changes.
• Perform quality assurance on downstream data to ensure accuracy and alignment with requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation for systems, data models, and processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Student Information Systems (SIS) or K-12 platforms, including APIs and plugin development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT tools.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, SFTP, and other data exchange methods.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data quality assurance practices.
• Must be based in the US.
