TL;DR

DTC Ecom Direct Response Video Editor (Ecommerce): Lead production of high-converting short-form videos for a leading supplement brand using preset scripts and styles with an accent on direct-response principles, efficiency, and trend adaptation. Focus on delivering 10 videos daily, analyzing metrics to boost views and conversions, and achieving 90% first-pass approval.

Location: Fully remote, work from anywhere in the world. Core collaboration window 9:00 AM–8:00 PM ET, daily deadline 7:00 PM ET weekdays, weekly call Monday 12:00 PM ET.

What you will do

  • Produce ~10 high-quality short-form videos daily following scripts, styles, and formulas to maximize reach and conversions.
  • Analyze video metrics to optimize performance and increase bonus through higher views and conversions.
  • Apply direct-response copywriting to review and refine scripts.
  • Operate autonomously, managing workload to meet deadlines with minimal check-ins.
  • Master new tools, software, and techniques rapidly as trends evolve.
  • Ensure videos meet quality standards and instructions for minimal revisions; train future editors.

Requirements

  • Strong conversational and written English skills for clear communication with founders.
  • Proven experience creating short-form direct-response videos for DTC brands.
  • Proven experience with direct-response copywriting for short-form videos.
  • Proficiency in professional video-editing software (strong preference for CapCut Pro, or Adobe Premiere Pro).
  • Autonomous operator thriving without micromanagement, with high agency and rapid learning.
  • Attention to detail, efficiency over perfectionism, obsession with social media and direct-response marketing.

Nice to have

  • Experience with video generation tools (HeyGen, Captions, etc.).
