TL;DR

Senior Data Scientist (Traveltech): Developing and implementing predictive models for booking likelihood and demand forecasting with an accent on end-to-end ML project delivery. Location: Remote (Global). Open only to specialists who have already relocated from Russia and Belarus

Salary: $5,000–$6,000 per month gross

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end ML projects from task definition and solution design to production and support.
  • Develop and train models using classic ML and DL, including text and image embeddings.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to create datasets and assess technical feasibility and risks.
  • Design and analyze A/B tests to interpret results and recommend solution rollouts.
  • Deploy models as production Python services and maintain stability via monitoring and drift analysis.
  • Analyze large-scale data to uncover insights and test product hypotheses.

Requirements

  • Must have already relocated from Russia or Belarus.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist with a track record of production ML projects.
  • Proficiency in DL frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow) and production-quality Python.
  • Strong SQL skills for independent dataset assembly (joins, window functions).
  • Experience with ML monitoring, error analysis, and experiment tracking (MLflow, W&B, DVC).
  • English: B1 (Intermediate) level required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with time series forecasting.
  • Knowledge of ranking approaches (pointwise, pairwise).
