What you will do

• Review Contractor’s Fire & Life Safety (FLS) packages based on NFPA codes, SBC codes and GDCD requirements.
• Conduct technical reviews of FLS shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for testing and commissioning.
• Perform building code and gap analysis based on contractor submissions.
• Execute frequent site inspections and surveys for both passive and active fire protection systems.
• Manage testing, commissioning, and handover inspections, ensuring detailed data collection and reporting.
• Review and approve contractor emergency response procedures, fire risk assessments, and evacuation plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4+ years of Middle East project experience covering design review, construction supervision, and FLS inspections.
• Proven experience in FLS calculations and reporting.
• Preferably certified on NFPA 13, 20, 72, or 2001 codes.
• Experience liaising with local authorities and clients to obtain occupancy certificates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
