Senior Design Researcher (Product Design)

Senior Design Researcher (Product Design): Conducting mixed-methods research to support product innovation and user experience for health-tracking wearables with an accent on global data collection and localization. Focus on executing complex research initiatives, translating user behavior into actionable design recommendations, and optimizing participant experiences in the GCC region.

Location: On-site in Doha, Qatar. Only candidates currently living in Doha will be considered.

What you will do

• Execute complex mixed-methods research initiatives to gather global product and design feedback.
• Collaborate with the Boston team to plan and analyze global design studies.
• Localize research protocols for the Doha lab, adjusting activities and session structures.
• Develop and maintain research plans, workflows, and deliverables using tools like Jira.
• Coordinate research timelines and collaborate with recruitment and lab management for end-to-end delivery.
• Translate complex user insights into recommendations that inform product decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in UX research, human factors, psychology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience conducting research in product, design, or marketing environments.
• Experience with mixed-methods research for software product development and hardware data collection.
• Must currently reside in Doha, Qatar.
• Fluency in verbal and written English and comfort communicating with locals in Arabic.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings at least 2 days per week.
