What you will do

• Lead and direct cybersecurity analysts performing threat detection, analysis, and incident triage across networks and systems.
• Develop and maintain enterprise security monitoring strategies and data analytics to detect anomalies and emerging threats.
• Oversee daily and strategic cyber defense operations in alignment with DoD and DHRA cybersecurity policies.
• Guide vulnerability assessment and management activities, including scanning, prioritization, and remediation tracking.
• Mentor and train analysts on cybersecurity tools, threat intelligence integration, and analytic methodologies.
• Collaborate with SOC, RMF, and IT Operations teams to ensure coordinated defense-in-depth and response readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, threat analysis, or incident response.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cyber defense or analysis teams in a DoD or Federal environment.
• Proficiency in SIEM platforms, MITRE ATT&CK, STIGs, and DoD cyber threat frameworks.
• Active US Government issued security clearance and US citizenship.
• Current certification in at least one of the following: CISSP, CASP, or Elastic/Splunk.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or information systems.
• Experience supporting DoD Cyber Operations Centers or mission partner environments.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, Elastic, Tenable, or comparable platforms.
• Strong understanding of NIST 800-53, DoD Cloud SRG, and threat-hunting methodologies.
