QA Engineer - Backend (Golang)

TL;DR

QA Engineer - Backend (Golang): Analysis of requirements, creation of test scenarios, automated acceptance and regression testing with an accent on writing and maintaining tests in Go, CI/CD integration. Focus on defect detection, localization, reporting, test project development, and communication with product team during releases.

Location: Worldwide remote, flexible work from offices or remote. Relocation support to Cyprus, Serbia, Georgia or Kazakhstan.

What you will do

• Analyze requirements, create test scenarios, and prepare test data
• Conduct acceptance and regression testing, mostly automated
• Write and maintain automated tests in Go
• Detect, localize, and report defects using issue tracking systems
• Develop and maintain test projects
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Communicate with product team during development and releases

Requirements

• B1 or higher English for communication with international team
• Experience developing and maintaining test documentation
• Programming experience in Go / Java / Kotlin / Python
• Experience with Git or other version control
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with message queues (Kafka)
• Experience developing and maintaining autotests
• Experience with test framework development and CI/CD tools

Nice to have

• Experience with gRPC, Protobuf
• Experience with frameworks: dailymotion/allure-go, gomega
• Experience in load testing
• Knowledge of software design patterns
