What you will do

• Lead the cultural evolution of the Software Engineering team by implementing test automation, monitoring, and testing strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests and the CI development pipeline.
• Develop metrics and reports to proactively identify quality risks using data and dashboards.
• Document design patterns and best practices for the automation framework.
• Research emerging technologies to enhance quality and share knowledge with the engineering team.
• Analyze customer behavior and needs to improve quality assurance processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in automation testing for web applications.
• Proficiency in Node/JS automation frameworks (WebdriverIO, Cypress, Puppeteer, or NightwatchJS).
• Experience with Page Objects, UI maps, and GitlabCI (Jenkins is a plus).
• Ability to use AI tools to enhance coding speed and integrate with MCPs.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Testrails) and data analysis (Databricks).
• Fluent oral and written Spanish and English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with other programming languages like Python.
• Familiarity with Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
