What you will do

• Execute rigorous FAX checks and technical coordination from pre-show through live execution of broadcasts.
• Perform quality control (QC) checks to ensure all feeds and signals meet required distribution standards.
• Support the launch, routing, and takedown of live events across complex broadcast architectures.
• Operate and monitor complex live streaming events, validating overall service health and viewer experience.
• Maintain clear, timely communication with supervisory and engineering stakeholders during high-pressure live events.
• Document shift turnover notes to ensure operational continuity between teams.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in broadcast operations, master control, NOC, or TOC environments.
• Experience managing live video workflows using AWS Elemental Live and MediaConnect, including CloudWatch dashboards.
• Strong technical understanding of signal flow, compression formats, live streaming pipelines, and CDNs.
• Proficiency with transport protocols including SDI, SMPTE-2110, RTP, RTMP, SRT, and Zixi.
• Experience with waveform monitors, vectorscopes, encoders, and playout servers.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring platforms like TAG Video Systems, AMPP, or Zixi Broadcaster.
• Proficiency in Slack, Google Drive, Confluence, and Zoom for workflow coordination.
• Experience utilizing Airtable and internal ticketing systems.
