What you will do

• Build and ship full-stack product experiences for hirify.global’s education offerings.
• Own the entire development lifecycle from ideation and technical design to launch and iteration.
• Translate learning goals and evidence from researchers and learning scientists into product decisions.
• Collaborate with designers and data partners to create high-quality user experiences.
• Establish the engineering foundation, patterns, and technical direction for the education pod.
• Develop tools that serve both consumer and B2B education sectors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience at tech or product-driven companies.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, React, and modern web technologies.
• Experience with backend languages (Python, Go, Rust, or TypeScript) and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
• Proven ability to operate in fast-growing environments with loosely defined tasks.
• Must be based in San Francisco, USA

• Experience as a founder or early engineer at a startup.
• Previous experience building interactive educational tools or learning products.
• Strong interest in expanding global access to education.
• Interest in AI/ML.
