Sales Data & Reporting Intern

TL;DR

Sales Data & Reporting Intern: Support the Sales Excellence team by contributing to data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives using Excel, Salesforce, and Power BI with an accent on sales processes and tools. Focus on preparing and validating reports, automating repetitive tasks, ensuring data quality, and collaborating cross-functionally.

Location: Hybrid - Remote/Onsite in Mindelo, Porto, Portugal

What you will do

• Prepare and update standard sales reports using Excel, Salesforce, and Power BI dashboards.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency in reports.
• Support continuous improvement and automation projects for sales processes.
• Assist with data cleanup, quality checks, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams on data extracts and project support.
• Help with onboarding materials and training related to reporting tools.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Solid Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data organization).
• Interest in data analysis, process improvement, and automation.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Salesforce, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
• Basic understanding of process improvement or automation concepts.
• Experience working with data sets from projects or internships.
• Curiosity about technology improving business efficiency.
