What you will do

• Define and develop scalable verification plans, test benches, and environments for blocks, subsystems, and SoCs.
• Execute verification plans using emulation and system simulation models to uncover bugs and analyze power and performance.
• Root cause and debug issues within the pre-silicon environment and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with SoC architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to optimize complex microarchitectural features.
• Integrate security activities into test plans, including regression and debug tests, to ensure full security coverage.
• Improve functional verification infrastructure based on post-silicon feedback and validation quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or CS with 5+ years of experience (or Master's with 4+ years).
• 4+ years of experience with hardware description languages (Verilog or VHDL) and verification tools (UVM or SystemVerilog).
• Experience with simulation/emulation tools and functional coverage analysis.
• Advanced English level.
• Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python for test automation, C/C++, Perl, Tcl, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with simulation tools such as VCS, Xcelium, or Questa.
• Knowledge of ARM-based SoC architectures and AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB).
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, USB, Ethernet) and memory subsystems.
• Knowledge of formal verification, assertion-based verification, and CI/CD pipelines.
